With all the recent news events concerning children living with various parents and partners etc., integrating childern into new relationships can often be met with resistance, hostility and frustration. Divorce is stressful on everyone and children are often left to sort through their divorce-grief alone. Creating an environment that offers safety, continuity and communication is key to keeping children on track and connected. We will begin to discuss ways to help them more successfully deal with changes at home and with new faces in familiar places. Open discussion and personal experiences help us not feel so isolated and overwhelmed.
