Changing the pattern of criticism and defensiveness in your relationship is essential to its long-term stability and success. While empathy and understanding go a long way toward maintaining a healthy connection with your partner, it is the zingers, the negative behaviors, which are truly destructive. In Part 2 of this series, Tim will build on the concepts and stories of misadventure that many couples inadvertently use to communicate with each other that were explored in Part 1. This evening will focus on practical and specific skills partners can use to create healthier and more successful ways of communicating and connecting with their loved one.

Maybe you only want to refresh your memory or make sense to what has happened. Reflective writing helps capture the momentous and minute memories. Using a simple notepad and pen, learn to capture these memories and appreciate them as you continue to weave the tapestry of your life. Susan brings her years of experience in encouraging both bold and timid journal-writers toward creative living and well-being.
