Suzette Lamb, LCPC

Suzette is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Supervisor with clinical experience that includes group, individual, marital and family therapy in residential and outpatient settings as well as working EAP, university counseling and crisis intervention. Suzette received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Suzette has extensive training in issues related to attachment, adoption, and many experiences of trauma including abuse, neglect, assault, and military/first responders.  Some of her advanced trainings include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®), Circle of Security, and the ALERT Program (for self-regulation and sensory processing disorder). Suzette has also completed training in Somatic Experiencing (beginning level), DEEP (Dynamic Enriched Experiential Psychotherapy) and IPNB (Interpersonal Neurobiology). Suzette enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults who are dealing with day to day struggles at work, school or home as well as more chronic or serious emotional or behavioral issues.  Specifically, she welcomes individuals and families challenged with parenting issues, relationship conflict, PTSD, and the impact of trauma across the lifespan.

Suzette is also a highly experienced and dynamic trainer and facilitator and has provided extensive training for parents, professionals, community groups, and agencies over the last twenty years.  Topics include but are not limited to foster care, adoption, secondary/caregiver trauma, wellness issues, sensory regulation, child welfare skills and education, school-based interventions, parenting, and brain-based behavior interventions.
